HIGHLANDER SALT

HIGHLANDER SALT

Rating is 5.0 out of five stars based on 5 reviews
£4.49Price

A herby Scottish-style seasoning salt that earns its place beside the cooker.

Highlander Salt is simple in the best way. Coarse sea salt carries parsley, onion, thyme, lemon, white pepper and marjoram, giving you a savoury herby seasoning that works with the kind of food we actually cook all the time.

It is especially good with hearty food - steak, lamb, roasts and game - but you will probably end up shaking it over tatties and veg just as often. Think of it as an everyday finishing salt with a lot more character.

What does it work with?

Steak · lamb · venison and game · roast potatoes · mash · root veg · roast dinners

Easy idea: Get it over roast tatties before they go into the oven, then give them another light pinch when they come out. Dead simple and very hard to stop eating.

Made with coarse sea salt, parsley, kibbled onion, thyme, dried lemon peel, white pepper and marjoram.

If you want roast chicken dinner flavour for your weekday meals, get this! I first tried it as a coating on chicken breast fillets before pan frying, oh my word…the flavour was like I’d just pulled off a bit of the roast chicken straight out the oven on Christmas day! It’s so good my own mum stole mine…wee tea leaf!

Also had it over roasted sweet potato wedges, honestly it’s making my mouth water just typing this.

    Give it a try!
