What Salt Tells You About a Brand

Salt’s not just salt.

It’s the backbone of every blend. The carrier. The enhancer. The base that makes everything else sing — or fall flat.

So when a brand fills half the pouch with dusty table salt, you know what they’re really about: profit, not flavour.

Some use anti-caking agents. Some use salt that’s bleached, refined, stripped of everything good — just to make it look clean on a shelf.

Not Craic.

We use salt that does something.

Sea salt that grips the spice. Salt that feels like it came from the coast, not a chemistry lab.

Take Highlander Salt. It’s not just seasoning — it’s a flavour weapon. Cracks through a steak crust. Cuts through rich veg. Finishes roast tatties like a hammer.

We don’t use salt as filler. We use it like a blade.
